The expenses for agricultural production in Ukraine in January-October 2017 increased by 22.2% year-over-year (y-o-y), according to the State Statistics Service.
At the same time, the cost of production of crop products grew by 23.4%, while that of livestock production rose by 18.6%.
The cost of agricultural production increased by 2.1% in October 2017 from September 2017. In particular, the total costs of production of plant products rose by 2.5% in October 2017, while that of animal products grew by 1.1%.

The State Statistics Service said that the data excluded reports from temporarily occupied areas in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, as well as the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone in the east of Ukraine.
