Poroshenko adds $36,144 in interest income from bank deposits to 2016 assets declaration

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has additionally declared income for 2016 to the tune of UAH 979,873 (US$36,144) in interest from bank deposits in the International Investment Bank, according to the state register of declarations of persons authorized to perform state or local government functions.

The register's report on significant updates as of December 6, 2017, indicates that Poroshenko received in particular UAH 95,045 ($3,506), UAH 307,766 ($11,352), and UAH 577,062 ($21,286) in interest from deposits in the International Investment Bank.

The president also reported UAH 11.9 million ($438,952) in interest income from bank deposits, as well as a UAH 26,200 ($966) income from the sale of securities and corporate rights.

On May 11, 2017, Poroshenko additionally declared UAH 865,444 ($31,923) in interest income from deposits in in the International Investment Bank. On June 12, he declared an additional income worth UAH 1.2 million ($44,264) in interest from bank deposits.
