"The international rating agency Moody's forecasts Ukraine’s GDP growth next year at 3.5%," Groysman wrote.

"In the state budget for 2018, we laid down growth at 3%, but I said more than once that this is a necessary minimum, and we are quite able to achieve a higher rate next year," he said.

As reported by Ekonomichna Pravda earlier, Moody's announced its growth forecast for Ukraine's gross domestic product by 3.5% in 2018.

Moody's believes that Ukraine's economy will continue to recover gradually after a deep recession in 2014-2015, with inflation declining.

Moody's believes that geopolitical risk is connected with the loss of territorial sovereignty, both in the Crimea and in Donbas, where military operations never ceased completely, despite the ceasefire agreement, signed in Minsk in February 2015.
