Ukraine's Cabinet prolongs import duties on Russian goods for 2018

Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has extended retaliatory duties on goods imports from Russia for 2018, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

A relevant resolution was adopted at a government meeting on Wednesday, December 20, without debates on the need for finalization.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Ukrainian government adopted a resolution abolishing the preferential trade regime with Russia on December 30, 2015, in response to Russia's trade barriers.

Goods imported from the Russian Federation are taxed at rates set by Ukraine's Customs Code without special preferences. The resolution was prolonged in 2017.
