NBU strengthens official exchange rate to UAH 27.85 to dollar

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for December 22:

US$100 costs UAH 2,785.5935 (on December 21, it was UAH 2,786.0871);

EUR 100 costs UAH 3,303.4353 (on December 21, it was UAH 3,300.1202);

10 RUB costs UAH 4.7569 (on December 21, it was UAH 4.7449).

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 33.09/33.11, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4709/0.4719.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 27.8559 to the dollar, with 684 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $464.62 million.
