Ukraine's Trade Representative Nataliya Mykolska says Ukraine lost US$31.4 billion in export revenue from 2012 to 2016.
"Exports drive Ukraine's economic growth. With regard to exports, we lost $31.4 billion in export revenue in 2012-2016. We have managed to regain $6.1 billion of this amount since 2016," she said at a briefing in Kyiv on December 20.

In her words, an increase in exports is a key task for achieving high economic growth rates.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the export of goods and services from Ukraine in January-September 2017 grew by 18.5%, or over $6 billion, year-over-year, to 38.1 billion.
Shipments of goods to the EU countries in January-September 2017 rose by $2.8 billion (29.1%), which was the highest increase in exports of goods in value terms among all Ukraine's trade partners. There are positive dynamics in goods exports to the EU countries in all industry sectors.
