Fluctuations in the hryvnia exchange rate that brought the U.S. dollar to UAH 28 in exchange offices across Ukraine are of seasonal nature, and the situation will stabilize in January, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman told a press conference in Kyiv, reporting on the results reached in 2017.
"Rate fluctuations are absolutely seasonal. In January the situation stabilizes, you know that," the prime minister said.

The hryvnia’s historical minimum against the U.S. dollar was recorded in February 2015 amounting to UAH 30.01 / USD.
