The National Bank of Ukraine on Friday evening lowered the official hryvnia exchange rate by 10 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 27.95 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for December 26:
US$100 costs UAH 2,795.0921 (on December 22, it was UAH 2,785.5935);
EUR 100 costs UAH 3,313.0227 (on December 22, it was UAH 3,303.4353);
10 RUB costs UAH 4.7931 (on December 22, it was UAH 4.7569).

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 33.12/33.14, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4709/0.4719.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 16:00 was UAH 27.9509 to the dollar, with 630 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $487.42 million.
