The agreement came into force on January 1, 2016.

"Ukraine plans to evaluate the agreement and its growth zones next year, regardless of the position of the European Union," she told at a press conference in Kyiv on December 21.

At the same time, the trade envoy stressed that Ukraine had been conducting a dialogue with the EU on joint evaluation of the agreement.

As UNIAN reported, Mykolska said earlier that the evaluation of the EU-Ukraine Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area agreement would be the basis for further decisions on the format of future trade relations with the EU.

Shipments of goods to the EU countries in January-September 2017 rose by $2.8 billion (29.1%) year-over-year, which was the highest increase in exports of goods in value terms among all Ukraine's trade partners. There are positive dynamics in goods exports to the EU countries in all industry sectors.
