Ukrainian solvent banks in January-November 2017 received UAH 1.826 billion (US$65.4 million) in net profit against UAH 18.884 billion ($67.6 million) in loss year-over-year (y-o-y), according to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
The banks' revenue in the 11 months shrank by 2.7% y-o-y, to UAH 161.584 billion ($5.8 billion), while expenses dropped by 13.7%, to UAH 159.758 billion ($5.7 billion).
At the same time, Ukrainian solvent banks saw a UAH 328 million ($11.7 million) loss in November 2017, according to the data provided.
Previously, the NBU reported that the Ukrainian banking sector completes the year 2017 with a profit after three-year record losses.

The previous record loss of the Ukrainian banking system was registered in 2015 when the negative financial performance by the operating banks stood at UAH 66.6 billion ($2.4 billion).
