Ukrainian's Social Policy Minister Andriy Reva says the rate of shadow employment in Ukraine in 2017 decreased by 8%, to 3.7 million people from an earlier figure of 4 million non-accounted workers.
"There were 4 million people employed in the shadow economy in 2016. Now the number of 'disguised employees' has decreased by 300,000 people," he said at a Kyiv press conference on Dec 28.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Andriy Reva says the poverty rate in Ukraine in 2017 dropped by 15.1 percentage points from 54.5% in 2016 to 39.4%.
