The surplus of Ukraine's balance of payments soared by 2.6 times in January-November 2017, to $2.565 billion against a surplus of $987 million in the same period of 2016, according to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
The surplus in November 2017 stood at $491 million against an $80-million deficit in November 2016, the NBU said.

Receipts of the financial account over the period totaled $5.523 billion.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's balance of payments in 2016 was positive and its surplus amounted to $1.346 billion, which was 1.6 times up on a surplus of $849 million in 2015.
