Poroshenko signs State Budget-2018

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed Law No. 2446-VIII "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2018", adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on December 7, the presidential press service reports.

It is reported that the state budget revenues for 2018 are determined in the amount of UAH 917.9 billion, while the expenditures are set at the level of UAH 991.7 billion.

The maximum volume of the budget deficit is to be provided in the amount of UAH 80.6 billion or 2.4% of GDP. The limit of the state debt is set at UAH 1.999,3 billion, which will be 60% of GDP.

Proceeds from privatization are projected at UAH 21.3 billion.

The living wage will grow by 9% and the minimum wage by 16.3%.

A total of UAH 71 billion are provided for the provision of benefits and housing subsidies to the population for payment of housing and communal services.

A state road fund will also be created in 2018 with a volume of expenditures of UAH 32.9 billion. In total, UAH 47.7 billion is to be allocated for the development of roads.

The law comes into force on January 1, 2018.
