Natural gas reserves in Ukrainian underground storage facilities decreased by 2%, or 296 million cubic meters, to 14.693 billion cubic meters from 14.989 bcm on December 24-31, according to Ukrtransgaz, a state-owned operator of Ukraine’s gas transmission system.
In particular, according to the company data, on December 31, some 37.4 million cubic meters of gas was taken from storage facilities.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on October 26, 2017, Ukraine stopped pumping gas into its storages and began its selection for the needs of the ongoing heating season.
