Naftogaz pays $3.8 bln in taxes, dividends to budget in 2017

National oil and gas holding Naftogaz of Ukraine in 2017 paid UAH 106 billion (US$3.8 billion) in taxes and dividends to the national budget, which was almost 1.5 times more year-over-year (y-o-y), according to the company's website.

"As of December 29, 2017, Naftogaz paid UAH 106 billion of taxes and dividends to the state budget in 2017. This includes UAH 14.3 billion [$509.4 million] in corporate tax, UAH 30.2 billion [$1.1 billion] in VAT, UAH 33.9 billion [$1.2 billion] in royalties, and UAH 13.3 billion [$473.8 million] in dividends," it said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Naftogaz in the nine months of 2017 increased its net profit by 20%, to UAH 30.6 billion ($1.1 billion).

The company received UAH 26.5 billion ($944 million) in net profit in 2016 against UAH 27.7 billion ($988 million) in net loss in 2015.
