Natural gas reserves in Ukrainian underground storage facilities (USFs) on January 7-13 shrank by 2.7%, or 390 million cubic meters, to 14.028 billion cubic meters (bcm) from 14.418 bcm, according to the state-run gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz.
In particular, 77.69 mcm of gas was withdrawn from storage facilities on January 13 alone, it said.

On October 26, Ukraine stopped injecting gas into underground storage facilities and began pumping it out for the smooth heating season.
Ukraine had accumulated 16.8 bcm of gas in the underground storage facilities by the beginning of the 2017-2018 heating season (October 15).
