Meat production in Ukraine in January-December 2017 totaled 3.26 million tonnes (live weight), which was 0.4% down year-over-year, according to State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Milk production in the country in 2017 declined by 0.5%, to 10.3 million tonnes, while egg production grew by 3.2%, up to 15.6 billion pieces.

As UNIAN reported earlier, milk production in Ukraine fell by 2.1% in 2016 against 2015, while that of eggs dropped by 9.9%, to 15.1 billion pieces. However, meat production grew by 0.7%, to 3.29 million tonnes.
