Net sales (sales exceed purchases) of cash foreign currency by Ukrainians through the banking system amounted to $65.2 million in December 2017, according to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) website.
Over the period under review, banks sold $736.5 million to individuals and bought $801.7 million, it said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, net sales of foreign currency by the Ukrainian population in 2016 amounted to $2.48 billion, which was 1.6 times up against 2015.
