U.S.-based GE Renewable Energy, a division of General Electric, in 2018 will deliver 26 wind turbines for Prymorska wind electric plant (WEP) in Zaporizhia region owned by DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy holding, according to DTEK press service.
"This equipment is intended for stage 1 of the 200 MW Prymorska wind electric plant in the Zaporizhia region. The project's active phase will begin after the completion of all financial and legal aspects of the transaction. The first 26 wind turbines will be delivered to Ukraine and installed at Prymorska WEP in 2018," the press service said in a statement.

Moreover, the two stages of Prymorska WEP are scheduled to be commissioned before 2020. The plant will produce 650-700 million kWh of "green" electric energy annually.

UNIAN memo. DTEK RES assets include Prymorska WEP and Ukraine's largest Botiyevska Wind Farm, which was built in 2011.
In 2014, the second stage of the wind power plant was put into operation. The installed capacity of Botiyevska Wind Farm is 200 MW. The company also built and commissioned Tryfonivska solar power plant in Kherson region with a capacity of 10 MW.
