Ukrainian farmers since the beginning of the 2017-2018 marketing year (MY, July 2017 – June 2018) as of January 24 exported 23 million tonnes of grains, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reported.
In particular, Ukraine has exported 11.9 million tonnes of wheat, 3.9 million tonnes of barley, 13,200 tonnes of rye and 7 million tonnes of corn.
In addition, during the reporting period, agrarians exported to foreign markets 252,400 tonnes of flour, of which 251,600 tonnes was wheat flour and 0,800 tonnes were other types of flour.

According to the State Statistics Service, in 2016 Ukraine collected 65.95 million tonnes of grains and legumes, which is 9.7% more than in 2015, and is a record for the country during the years of independence.
