Ukraine among blockchain innovation leaders

Adviser to the director at the State Agency for E-Government of Ukraine Kostiantyn Yarmolenko says Ukraine ranks among the 14 country leaders in blockchain innovation on the blockchain's world map presented at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

Ukraine is among them!" Yarmolenko wrote on Facebook on January 26.

According to Yarmolenko, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Israel, the Emirate of Dubai, Georgia, Estonia, Great Britain, France, Germany, Sweden and China are also among the key hubs for blockchain innovation.

He also said that Ukrainian lawmakers together with representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) would table a bill on blockchain in parliament in the following three weeks.

At the WEF, Ukraine was covered by two top subjects, agriculture and blockchain technology, he added.
