NBU strengthens official exchange rate to UAH 28.24 to dollar

The National Bank of Ukraine on Monday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 30 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 28.24 to the dollar.

US$100 costs UAH 2,824.6515 (on January 29, it was UAH 2,854.8638);

EUR 100 costs UAH 3,496.6361 (on January 29, it was UAH 3,550.3086);

10 RUB costs UAH 5.0180 (on January 29, it was UAH 5.1136).

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 34.83/34.87, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4998/0.5007.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 28.2465 to the dollar, with 592 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $333.24 million.
