Deficit of Ukraine's consolidated budget shrinks to US$1.5 bln in 2017

Ukraine saw the deficit of its consolidated budget in 2017 shrink by 23.2% (UAH 12.720 billion, or $454.1 million), to UAH 42.094 billion (US$1.5 billion) against UAH 54.814 billion ($2 billion) in 2016.

Read alsoRevenue of Ukraine's consolidated budget soars to $30 bln in 2017The deficit of Ukraine's national budget over the period under review was estimated at UAH 47.850 billion, or $1.7 billion, which was 33.4% down on the deficit of 2016 (UAH 70.262 billion, or $2.5 billion), according to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) website.
