The deficit of Ukraine's national budget over the period under review was estimated at UAH 47.850 billion, or US$1.7 billion.
Ukraine saw the deficit of its consolidated budget in 2017 shrink by 23.2% (UAH 12.720 billion, or $454.1 million), to UAH 42.094 billion (US$1.5 billion) against UAH 54.814 billion ($2 billion) in 2016.
