The total amount of state and state-guaranteed debt in hryvnias as of Dec 31, 2017, has grown by UAH 2.142, to UAH 2.142 trillion, according to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
This is an 11% growth compared to the amount recorded in the previous reporting period.
The state and state-guaranteed debt in the dollar equivalent over the same period increased by 7.5%, or by $5.33 billion, to $76.3 billion, reads the report.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine’s debt to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as of January 2018 totals $12.1 billion, according to Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, Oleh Churiy.
