Ukraine received a permit on January 31 to participate in international trade in another type of seeds, namely sugar beet and fodder beet seeds.

"Until now, Ukraine has been a participant in the four Seed Schemes of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), which are officially recognized as a tool for certification and international trade in seeds. In particular, the schemes refer to cereals, maize, sorghum and fibre species (crucifer and other oil species). Now the Sugar Beet and Fodder Beet Seed Scheme is added," the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry's press service said.
