Cash hryvnia in Kyiv again loses value, to UAH 28.10 to U.S. dollar

Currency exchange booths in Kyiv on Friday, February 2, sold U.S. dollars for UAH 28.10 to the dollar and euros were sold for UAH 35.00 to the euro.

Meanwhile, they bought the dollar for UAH 27.80 and the euro for UAH 34.60, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

Rates of the Ukrainian hryvnia against the U.S. dollar on the interbank forex market by the middle of trading on Friday, February 2, were set at UAH 27.84/27.87 per dollar.

Interbank rates against the euro were UAH 34.77/34.81 and those against the Russian ruble were UAH 0.4946/0.4955.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) reported that the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 13:00 Kyiv time was UAH 27.8922 to the dollar, with 472 deals concluded by that time to the tune of $262.08 million in total.
