NBU buys $111 mln in auction Feb 7

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) at a Wednesday additional bidding purchased $80.8 million from Ukrainian banks, which together with $30 million purchased at today's first bidding amounted to $110.8 million.

According to the central bank's website, the weighted average rate of the first bidding was set at UAH 27.0971 to the dollar, additional – UAH 27.1182 to the dollar.

According to dealers of commercial banks, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 27.09/27.13 to the dollar as of 12:30 Kyiv time.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 12:30 was UAH 27.1293 to the dollar, with 470 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $317.50 million.
