Naftogaz pays UAH 6.6 bln in taxes

Receipts from the group accounted for about 12% of the state budget’s total revenue in January 2018.

National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine in January 2018 paid to the state budget some UAH 6.6 billion in taxes, the company's press service reported.

“According to the operative data, in January 2018 the Naftogaz group paid about UAH 6.6 billion in taxes to the state budget," the report said.

It is reported that receipts from the group accounted for about 12% of the state budget’s total revenue in January 2018.

In 2016, Naftogaz saw a UAH 26.5 billion net profit, while in 2015 the company reported a UAH 27.7 billion net loss. Over the 9 months of 2017, the company increased net profit by 20% compared to the same period of 2016 - up to UAH 30.6 billion.

UNIAN memo. Naftogaz of Ukraine is Ukraine’s largest state-owned vertically integrated oil and gas company, whose enterprises produce about 90% of the country’s gas and oil.

The company develops deposits, extracts and transports oil and gas, as well as sells petroleum products through its own network of filling stations.
