NBU strengthens official forex rate to UAH 26.69 to dollar

The National Bank of Ukraine on Tuesday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate set for February 14 by 15 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.69 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for February 14:

US$100 cost UAH 2,669.9480 (UAH 2,684.0367 as of February 13);

EUR 100 cost UAH 3,292.8469 (UAH 3,291.4342 as of February 13);

10 RUB cost UAH 4.6217 (UAH 4.6263 as of February 13).

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 32.99/33.04, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4610/0.4620.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 26.6995 to the dollar, with 622 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $371.10 million.
