The official reserve assets over the period under review fell by 2%, to $18.44 billion.
The net international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in January 2018 shrank by 9.5% to US$6.039 billion.

At the same time, gross reserve liabilities increased by 2.2% in January 2018, to $12.401 billion.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's net international reserves in 2017 rose by 58.5%, to $6.696 billion.
