The documents will be submitted to the Cabinet for consideration in accordance with the established procedure," the report posted on the regulator's website said.

The draft resolution was developed based on the results of research on the allocation of Ukraine's radio frequency resource, as well as proposals for the introduction of 4G in the respective frequency bands made by Analysys Mason Limited (the UK).

As UNIAN reported earlier, the regulator in 2017 received confirmation that Intellectual Communications LLC was ready to stop using the 2345-2400 MHz RF band and that TV and Radio Company Kraevid ('Landscape') LLC was ready to release the 2300-2400 MHz band used to provide services to its subscribers. Based on this, the regulator on November 21, 2017, passed a draft Cabinet resolution as a basis to amend the fees for the licenses and endorsed proposed amendments to the RF allotment plan to introduce 4G in the 2300 MHz band.

The commission earlier said that the minimum fee for a 15-year license in the 2300 MHz band on a competitive basis or at a tender might amount to UAH 1.113 billion (US$41.7 million) for 55 MHz.
