Sales of cash foreign currency by Ukrainians through the banking system, which were estimated at US$787.3 million, exceeded the purchases by US$50.9 million in April 2020.

Sales of foreign currency have been exceeding the purchases for the fifth consecutive month, according to the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
Ukrainian citizens in January-April 2020 sold US$522 million more in cash foreign currency through the banking system than they bought.
As UNIAN reported earlier, sales of foreign currency by the Ukrainian population in 2019 amounted to US$14.943 billion, which was US$176.8 million up on purchases.
