The meeting of the Budget Committee is expected to be scheduled for November 2.
Deputy Chairman of the Holos faction, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada's Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Yaroslav Zhelezniak says the consideration of the 2021 national in the first reading is tentatively scheduled for November 5.
"As for the long-delayed budget for 2021. According to my source, the meeting of the Budget Committee will be scheduled for Monday (November 2)," the lawmaker wrote on Telegram on October 29.
The official noted that tax changes introduced to the national budget would also be considered at the meeting soon.
"The 2021 budget will be voted on in the first reading on a Thursday plenary session (November 5). The only intrigue is the availability of votes. Everything is as it was. On the verge of a foul," he said.

On September 14, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the 2021 national budget draft.
On September 18, 2020, the Cabinet presented the draft budget at the Verkhovna Rada.
Zhelezniak earlier said that lawmakers submitted more than 2,400 amendments to the draft law on the 2021 national budget.
The meeting of the Verkhovna Rada's Budget Committee to approve the amendments was canceled on October 16.
