Cabinet goes for top reshuffle in energy ministry

One of the deputies has been appointed acting minister.

The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed Acting Energy Minister Olha Buslavets, head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy, Housing and Utilities Andriy Gerus wrote on Facebook.

Deputy Energy Minister Yuriy Boyko has been appointed to replace her, Gerus added.

"Congratulations on the appointment of a new acting minister of energy Yuriy Mykolaiovych Boyko. Not to be confused with Yuriy Anatoliyovych Boyko, leader of the OPZZh party," the MP wrote.

The Cabinet's press service has confirmed the news, writing on its website that "the Prime Minister thanked Olha Buslavets for the changes that had been implemented over the months that have been so difficult for the country."

PM Denys Shmyhal ahs noted that Olha Buslavets remains on the government team.
