Ukrainians in July 2020 sold US$1.543 billion in cash through the banking system, which was US$222 million more than they bought (US$1.321 billion).
Thus, foreign currency sales exceeded purchases for the eighth month in a row, the National Bank of Ukraine said on its website.

Since the beginning of the year, in January-July 2020, sales of cash foreign currency through the banking system exceeded purchases by US$970 million.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainians sold US$14.943 billion through the banking system in 2019, which was US$176.8 million more than the amount of cash foreign currency they bought.
