Since the year's start, the amount of cash outside the banking system has grown by 16.7%.
The volume of cash in circulation outside Ukraine's banking system in June 2020 increased by 3.1% compared to May 2020, to UAH 448.442 billion, or US$16.65 billion.
Since the beginning of the year, the volume of cash outside banks has grown by 16.7%, the National Bank of Ukraine said on its website.

The money supply expanded by 2.2% in June and by 12.1% since the beginning of the year, to UAH 1.612 trillion, or US$59.85 billion.
The monetary base grew by 2.5% in June and by 11.6% since the beginning of the year, to UAH 532.7 billion, or US$19.78 billion.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainians in 2019 sold US$14.943 billion in cash through the banking system, which was US$176.8 million more than they bought. In June 2020, Ukrainians sold US$1.281 billion in cash through the banking system, which exceeded foreign currency purchases by US$177.4 million.
