Ukraine reports 6% rise in sales of new commercial vehicles in Jan-Feb

Sales of new commercial vehicles in Ukraine in January-February 2021 grew by 6% year-over-year (y-o-y), to 1,666 vehicles.

In February alone, sales of such vehicles increased by 7% y-o-y, to 765 units, while declining by 15% from January 2021, the Ukrautoprom association's press service said on March 2.

Fiat was second with 106 vehicles sold in the second months of 2021, which was 39% down y-o-y.

Peugeot vehicles ranked third, they acquired 97 Ukrainian license plates in the past month, with a 28% rise in sales y-o-y.

Ford took the fourth place in the ranking with 52 vehicles sold in February, which was 18.2% up y-o-y.

The Belarussian MAZ brand whose sales in February totaled 46 vehicles (17.9% down y-o-y) joined the top five leaders in terms of sales of new commercial vehicles in Ukraine.
