Ukraine's Finance Ministry says UAH 1,019.5 million (US$36 million) was spent from the COVID-19 Relief Fund for repairing motorways of state importance.

In total, UAH 1,737 million (US$61.8 million) in sick leave allowances was spent from the fund, as well as UAH 6,782.1 million (US$241 million) in unemployment benefits.
Another UAH 2,469.7 million (US$87.9 million) was allocated for additional payments to the military and police, and UAH 3,198.4 million (US$113.8 million) was spent for additional payments to health care workers.
Spending for repair works at hospitals stood at UAH 1,680.0 million (US$59.8 million), while overhaul of motorways cost UAH 20,216.7 (US$719.2 million).
On April 13, the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, passed amendments to the law on the 2020 national budget, according to which a special Fund worth UAH 64.7 billion (US$2.3 billion) was created.
