Hryvnia weakens to U.S. dollar on Nov 23

The country's national currency weakened by 10 kopiykas.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for November 23 at UAH 28.36 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by 10 kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Monday is fixed at UAH 33.63 per euro – the hryvnia weakened by 19 kopiykas in value since Friday, according to the NBU website.

Regulator's rate

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for November 23:

  • US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,835.53 (UAH 2,825.72 as of November 20);
  • EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,362.66 (UAH 3,343.53 as of November 20).

By 16:00 Kyiv time on November 20, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.33/28.34 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 33.62/33.63.

The National Bank set the official forex rate for November 20 at UAH 28.26 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by 13 kopiykas.
