The national currency strengthened by nine kopiykas.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for August 25 at UAH 27.39 to the U.S. dollar, strengthening the national currency by nine kopiykas.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for August 25:
US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,739.42 (UAH 2,748.12 as of August 21);
EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,246.21 (UAH 3,255.29 as of August 21).
By 16:00 Kyiv time on August 21, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 27.43/27.45 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 32.29/32.31.
The National Bank set the official forex rate for August 21 at UAH 27.48 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by 16 kopiykas.
