Hryvnia strengthens to UAH 27.41 to U.S. dollar on August 14 / Photo from UNIAN

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for August 14 at UAH 27.41 to the U.S. dollar, strengthening the national currency by 12 kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Friday is fixed at UAH 32.42 per euro – the hryvnia weakened by two kopiykas in value since Thursday, according to the NBU website.
The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for August 14:
US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,740.83 (UAH 2,752.66 as of August 13);
EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,241.85 (UAH 3,239.61 as of August 13).
The NBU set the official forex rate for August 13 at UAH 27.53 to the U.S. dollar.
