The country's national currency weakened by seven kopiykas.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for October 15 at UAH 28.32 to the U.S. dollar, thus weakening the country's national currency by seven kopiykas.
The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday was set at UAH 33.39 – a five-kopiyka loss to Tuesday, according to the NBU website.
The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for October 15:
US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,831.64 (UAH 2,824.81 as of October 13);
EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,339.35 (UAH 3,333.98 as of October 13).
By 16:00 Kyiv time hryvnia quotes to the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.33/28.34 to the dollar, while those against the euro stood at UAH 33.41/33.44.
The National Bank set the official forex rate for October 13 at UAH 28.25 to the U.S. dollar, four kopiykas weaker against the previous day.
