All annual quotas for Ukrainian honey, juice exports to EU used up as of Jan 25

The Ukrainian Agribusiness Club Association (UCAB) says Ukraine as of January 25 had used its quotas for 2021 for duty-free supplies of honey, grape and apple juices to the European Union member states.

"The quarterly quota (January-March) for supplies of eggs, egg products, and poultry meat has also been used in full," the UCAB's press service wrote on Facebook on January 28.

Read alsoUkraine cuts agri-exports to EU in 2020In addition, in the first month of 2021, Ukrainian exporters used 74% of the annual quota for corn, 43% for sugar, 24% for cereals and flour, 18% for processed tomatoes, 9% for starch, 8% for wheat, and 16% of the quarterly quota for poultry carcasses.

"According to preliminary forecasts, quotas for said staples will be covered, as was the case last year, and most of them in the first half of the year," the press service added.
