Procurement procedures under the current contracts are run in line with the previous legislation.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Andriy Taran has said the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2021 will get military products worth UAH 10 billion (US$361.4 million).
"The orders (signed contracts) completed in 2020 already allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine to get this year 10 million pieces of ammunition, 3,300 missile and artillery systems, 2,700 reconnaissance and surveillance devices, over 320 vehicles, over 60 armored personnel carriers and armored vehicles, about 40 unmanned aerial complexes, as well as six aircraft," the official said, according to ministry's press service.

"Procurement procedures under the current contracts are run in accordance with the previous legislation. A process of forming a regulatory framework to ensure compliance with the norms of the new law 'On Defense Procurement,' as well as a transition to planning measures and budget are underway," the minister added.
