Every Ukrainian ministry to have its digital transformation plan – Deputy PM

He also announced the formation of digital transformation expertise for each ministry.

Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov says his ministry is developing a digital transformation plan for each ministry and its development is to be completed by the end of June.

"We want to develop a plan for the digital transformation of each ministry by the end of June, present it to the Verkhovna Rada's committees and embark on the transformation of each ministry for a year," he said on TV.

He also announced the formation of digital transformation expertise for each ministry.

"Now we [Digital Transformation Ministry] are turning into a consulting agency, and we are expanding the expertise within the ministries themselves ... Each ministry will have expertise, there will be experts and not everything will be dependent on a particular person," he added.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on May 7 instructed all ministries to create the position of deputy minister for digital development, digital transformations and digitalization within two weeks. Nominees to this post should be presented within a month.
