Ukraine occupies 69th place in the United Nations' e-government ranking in 2020.

It is 13 positions higher than it was in the previous 2018 ranking.

The 2020 ranking of the 193 UN Member States in terms of digital government – capturing the scope and quality of online services, status of telecommunication infrastructure and existing human capacity – is led by Denmark, the Republic of Korea, and Estonia, followed by Finland, Australia, Sweden, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, the United States of America, the Netherlands, Singapore, Iceland, Norway, and Japan, the United Nations said on its official website.

In addition, Ukraine ranks 46th by the E-Participation Index (EPI), which is 29 positions higher than in 2018. The leaders by the EPI are Estonia, South Korea, the United States, Japan, and New Zealand.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on February 28, 2020, the Ministry of Digital Transformation presented the launch of the national online platform for entrepreneurs "Diia.Business."

On June 25, 2020, Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers approved the introduction of electronic residency in the country, which will give foreigners the opportunity to gain access to administrative resources without visiting Ukraine.
