The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP) says Ukrainian producers of shell eggs have the opportunity to export their products to Ethiopia.

The two countries have agreed on a health certificate for shell eggs exports, the agency's press service said in a statement on February 23.

"Thanks to the joint efforts of the government and businesses, we're expanding the geography of exports of Ukrainian-made products, and are doing our outmost to maintain the image of our country as a reliable trading partner," the press service quoted SSUFSCP Head Vladyslava Magaletska as saying.

The agency is also working to open markets in other African countries for exports of shell eggs and egg products. The list includes Ghana, Morocco, Algeria, Angola, and the Republic of South Africa.
