"According to our preliminary estimates, Ukrainian exports may decline by 8.1% in 2020 because of a drop in agri-exports and metal shipments alone. Exports to those countries that have strict quarantine measures and buy mainly industrial goods from Ukraine will suffer the most," she said during an online discussion titled "Reminder: Economic diplomacy: Old friends, new markets?"

According to Khorunzha, exports of domestic goods to Russia, Poland, Italy, and Hungary will suffer the most from among the largest trading partners of Ukraine, and supplies to China and Belarus will be least affected. Exports to Turkey, Germany, Egypt, India, the Netherlands, and Spain will be moderately reduced.

As UNIAN reported, exports of Ukrainian goods amounted to US$50.1 billion in 2019.
