It is important to prevent the collapse of the public finance system, according to the prime minister.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said the Finance Ministry is considering the possibility of introducing tax holidays for businesses in Ukraine.
"Loan holidays have already been developed. As for tax holidays, the Finance Ministry is assessing the possibility of introducing them without facing a collapse of the national budget and the country's bankruptcy," he told a Ukrainian TV channel on May 12.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers in March 2020 introduced a nationwide coronavirus-related quarantine, which will remain in effect at least until May 22. Yet, a number of restrictions for businesses and citizens were lifted from May 11.
