Austria, Denmark, Norway, and other countries have also expressed their will to receive Ukrainian labor migrants.
Finnish farmers are set to see 15,000 Ukrainian seasonal workers this year, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Vadym Prystaiko reported following a meeting with Finland's Ambassador Päivi Maarit Laine.
"Finland is facing a severe shortage of seasonal employees. Ukrainian workers have distinguished themselves to be responsible, honest, hardworking and we look forward to the opportunity this year to have them back to work in agriculture and forestry, as well as other sectors," the envoy said, according to Ukraine Gov't portal.

Vadym Prystaiko noted that the Government was aware that Finland has been annually attracting between 12,000 and 15,000 Ukrainian labor migrants, including those operating agricultural machinery and engaging in late harvesting of berries, etc.
"Along with our partners from Finland, Ukraine Government of Ukraine will help Ukrainian workers get to their employment sites in groups. This includes arranging the required number of flights. Undoubtedly, safety is of the topmost priority. Therefore, the conditions remain in place for employers to guarantee legal employment of Ukrainian workers, quality health insurance, and an observation period," Vadym Prystaiko emphasized.
Also, the vice PM added that the same type of requests from Austria, Denmark, Norway, and other countries were being processed at the Government Office.
